HOW DOES IT WORK?
Our concept is simple. We create bracelets that plant trees! For every item purchased in our store we plant one tree in regions all over the globe. So far we have planted trees in the Brazilian Amazon, the US, Germany, Russia and Australia. Please visit the Why Trees? section of our site for more information.
WHEN WILL MY TREES BE PLANTED?
The time it takes to plant your tree depends on the region of planting and on the season. We do most of our planting during the rainy seasons, when the soil and surrounding weather provide optimal growth conditions. Our planting operations are carried out in partnership with One Tree Planted with whom we are a certified business partner.
HOW CAN I BE SURE THAT MY TREES ARE BEING PLANTED?
After you complete your purchase we will send you a confirmation email thanking you for your support. We also update our social media accounts regularly with photos and information provided by One Tree Planted, our main reforestation partner, whenever a planting session is taking place.
WHAT TYPE OF TREES DO YOU PLANT?
We only plant trees that are 100% indigenous. To ensure diversity and prevent one species from taking over an entire eco-system, several local varieties are planted at one location.
HOW DOES THE ACTUAL TREE PLANTING PROCESS WORK?
We pool donations for each project and send funds to our reforestation partners at the end of each calendar month. Depending on the planting location, we choose the best species to be planted in order to achieve a high rate of tree survival. We then work with local communities to plant the trees. Once all trees are in the ground we update on our progress and impact!
